About Us

Helicopters for Heroes (H4H) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization proudly entering its 15th year of service. Our mission is to stand beside America’s veterans and first responders, reminding them that after all they have given, they are never alone. We focus on two areas that change lives: mental health and mobility. Too many of our heroes return home carrying invisible scars or physical limitations from their service. H4H helps lift those burdens by providing track chairs, knee replacements, service dogs, and healing retreats that restore dignity, independence, and hope.

To make this possible, we bring people together through unforgettable events—like our helicopter hog hunt, golf tournaments, BBQ cookoffs, and fishing tournaments. These aren’t just fundraisers; they’re moments of fellowship and gratitude where communities rally to give back to those who gave everything for our freedom and safety. Since its founding, H4H has proudly raised over $7 million to support veterans and first responders. As a majority volunteer organization, we ensure that every dollar counts—with a 92% giveback rate, 92 cents of every dollar raised goes directly toward changing lives.
